Pink Martini, Better than Ever

Maybe it was the front row seats...or maybe the fact that they were performing in their home town of Portland, or maybe the fantabulous guest performances...but the Pink Martini concert last night was easily the best concert I've EVER been to. Guest performances were by Norman Leyden, Jane Powell, and the Royal Blues of Grand High School. Let it be said that I was literally squealing with delight intermittently all night...the performances were brimming with creativity and liveliness. I can't get over the rendition of Peter and the Wolf they performed...the way Thomas Lauderdale directed the "animals" with hand motions seemingly developed for each animal!! Wow, wow, wow. It was a New Year's Eve celebration to remember!
