Tangles in Tango

I recently decided to augment my salsa dancing habits with a bit of Tango. Unbeknownst to my novitiate mind, this dance is NOT as easy as it looks. In fact, I think the easier the particular dance move appears, the more difficult it probably is to learn! Our instructors make Tango look deliciously smooth, yet my classmates and I struggle mercilessly for an hour a week. However, last night we learned a move called the Molinete, in which the lead pivots in on one axis as the follow traces a circle of grapevines around him. I've honestly never been so dizzy in my life. Except for maybe after some of the exams we've taken this quarter....ha! Anyway, I'm newly motivated to learn Tango....as tangled up as my equilibrium is, it's so controlled and graceful that I feel compelled to continue......
